I've always been drawn to people whose work is centred on caring for others.
Therapists, psychologists, counsellors, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, and other wellness professionals dedicate their careers to supporting people through some of life's most important moments.
That's why I chose to specialize in strategic search infrastructure for established wellness practices.
Instead of helping people directly, I help the practices they depend on build a search presence that reflects the quality of care they've spent years earning.
I'm the founder of SEO Shalyn Consulting Inc., a boutique consultancy that helps established wellness practices in competitive urban markets build long-term Google visibility through strategic search infrastructure.
Why I Chose Wellness
As I was building my consulting practice, I was already involved in supporting people through some of life's most challenging experiences.
I started volunteering with Alberni Hospice in 2023 - facilitating peer grief support groups, took on some contracts supporting hospices with their digital marketing strategy and worked with organizations that support family caregivers.
Those experiences reinforced something I've always known about myself: I find purpose in helping the people who spend their lives helping others.
Today, I do that differently.
Rather than providing direct care, I partner with established counselling clinics, psychology practices, naturopathic clinics, chiropractic clinics, and other wellness organizations to strengthen their visibility on Google.
My role is to ensure that when someone is actively searching for care, they're able to discover the practices best equipped to help them.

More Than SEO
